One Word –> AWESOME!!!

this book was so entertaining and a little cheeky to boot. Now, do I believe the undead will be flooding the streets anytime soon… uh, I am not sure about that one… we will leave it at a maybe. Do I believe this book is helpful should this scenario ever play out… definitely. As for the reviewer that stated “nothing you can’t find online” … “gleaned from XYZ” … “written in teenage prose” I can kind of agree nut was a somewhat weird review as 1) what can’t you find online these days (I for one don’t want to scour the internet all day as I prefer all of this information in one spot and entertaining as a bonus) 2) what isn’t “gleaned from” I mean how many truly original ideas exist but this work was an interesting twist for me and I recommend it. 3) written in teenage prose… don’t even know what to say I mean look at the topic… although that is somewhat not fair because I am not a teenager and found the book to be informative, enjoyable, and entertaining.

Just what it says

Just what it says, a survival guide for the zombie apocalypse. A quick read and pretty handy, even for non Zombie events.

Entertaining, and a Nice prepping intro

Written in an entertaining fashion, and nevertheless gives some good ideas about survival. I’m not a prepper by any means — far from it, I picked this book up really just for the price and entertainment value. However, it presented some good basic simple things to do that seem pretty worthwhile. Am I going to go so far as to start training with pistols, stockpiling secret caches of water and MRE’s all over the place? No. Am I going to make sure I have a basic water purification method and other basic supplies with me all the time? Yes. I don’t expect a zombie apocalypse, or even any specific disaster, but even without that making some general emergency preparations seems at least somewhat prudent.

A good basic information book

I found this to be a good book for the beginner. It gave some basic information about surviving disasters in general. The survival tin is not something commonly found in Zombie survival books (normal survival books, yes) but I liked it’s addition. The defense section was interesting. I like the included lists for suggested reading and websites to check out. Most of them are general survival books. I have come across most of them on my own in the past but it is nice to have them all listed in one place.
